AC-SP Project Manager, Chris Little attended numerous site meetings with Hoare Lea, the venue and the electrical contractor, to discuss the site’s bespoke control requirements. The BRIT Awards 2018 set was created by Misty Buckley Production Design using DI-NOC architectural finishes by 3M. The origami-inspired stage backdrop stood at 15m tall and 59m wide, captivating architects, interior designers and the viewing public. The structure comprised multiple folded and prism-shaped formations, with names like Iceberg, Moving Mountain, Peace Crane and Shard. Although these were constructed to look like one formation, each plane was made separately, using a different pattern from the science-based technology company’s DI-NOC finishes collection.
