Datapath Expands Operations and R&D Team

Datapath welcomes two new key appointments, with Alex Taylor joining the UK-based manufacturer as Project Manager and Dan Rippin announced as Software Development Manager.

With a wealth of experience gained from photography and guest experience specialist Picsolve, as well as managing projects with the NHS and associated technology providers, Alex will be working closely with Datapath’s research and development teams, engineers, and sales and support teams, to ensure smooth completion of the company’s up-and-coming product releases.

Alex commented: “Datapath is globally respected as a market leader in video processing and management and I am thrilled to be joining their team. I’m looking forward to bringing my experience of working within a wide variety of vertical markets and playing my part in Datapath’s ongoing success story.”

Dan’s 20-year background in digital technology development includes 10 years with digital transport software specialists Resonate, where he oversaw the company’s innovative solutions for the rail sector. His new role will see him manage a new era of innovative Datapath solutions that aim to deliver an efficient and powerful evolution to professional AV video processing.

Dave Leat, Operations and Projects Director for Datapath, added: “Despite the considerable challenges of 2020, Datapath has continued to grow and develop and we are delighted to welcome both Dan and Alex to the team. Both bring a strong skillset that will benefit both Datapath and our partners alike. With exciting new products and offerings from Datapath on the horizon, we look forward to great things together.”
