The VX Series from Taylorleds has been awarded the 2025 Red Dot Design Award for product design, recognising the company’s continuous pursuit of excellence in LED engineering, industrial design, and performance innovation.
The VX Series sets a new benchmark in the rental LED video wall industry, combining ultra-slim engineering, next-generation durability, and cinematic-grade visuals.
Designed with the needs of live event professionals in mind, the VX delivers unmatched flexibility, portability, and reliability – qualities that redefine what a rental LED display can achieve.
With a slim 50mm profile and a lightweight structure of just 19 kg/sqm, the VX Series is engineered for effortless transport, rapid installation, and minimal maintenance.
Its true 16:9 aspect ratio ensures seamless content scaling and precision visuals for concerts, conferences, studios, control rooms, and live events worldwide.
The latest VX Series release introduces Taylorleds’ new 2-in-1 IMD Technology, purpose-built for the VX 1.9 mm and 2.6 mm models. This innovation delivers:
• 4× higher thrust strength compared to conventional LED modules, achieving a maximum thrust of 13 kgf.
• Enhanced durability and impact resistance, dramatically reducing pixel damage risks during frequent handling and transport.
• Superior contrast and display uniformity, resulting in sharper images and smoother color consistency.
• Simplified module repair for reduced downtime in demanding rental environments.
This 2-in-1 structure improves both mechanical integrity and optical performance, making the VX Series one of the most rugged yet visually precise rental LED solutions available today.
The VX Series was conceived and developed by the Taylorleds in-house design team – Tong Pu, Mike Yan, Tommy Wu, Liangliang He, and Teng Chen – whose dedication to innovation, craftsmanship, and user-centric engineering helped earn this recognition.
The VX Series embodies Taylorleds’ vision of merging art, technology, and design to enhance every visual experience.
Each detail, from its magnetic module connection to precision frame construction, was engineered to support fast assembly, seamless visuals, and long-term dependability in high-demand environments.
