Pioneer PRO AUDIO has partnered with Mixmag LAB LDN for 2022. The loudspeaker manufacturer has installed a full audio system into Mixmag’s HQ, from which the brand streams live sets by top DJ talent. Lab LDN is the most watched DJ booth on the planet, and the world’s longest running weekly DJ stream, reaching more than 30 million people in 2020 and with an average reach of more than 500,000 viewers per show in 2021. As well as promoting the biggest names in the industry, Lab LDN has supported breaking artists and showcased clubs, labels and festival takeovers for the last decade.
This year sees a total of 26 live streams from London, with a further 10 from other venues around the UK. Pioneer PRO AUDIO will also support these satellite events with mobile systems where applicable.
The system at Lab LDN is integrated into a fully branded DJ booth designed by Pioneer DJ, and provides premium club-quality sound for the intimate dancefloor, ramping up the atmosphere for guests lucky enough to be in attendance. Commissioned by Cosmic Electronics, it comprises 2 XY-2 tops with 2 XY-215S subs for the front area, with 2 XY-101 full-range speakers for guests in the area behind the DJs. 2 XY-2 and a single XY-215S for DJ monitoring complete the picture. The system is powered by 2 Powersoft QUATTROCANALI 4804 DSP+D amplifiers.
