Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club has been delighting audiences since its founders Ronnie Scott and Pete King first brought the New York-style jazz bar to London in 1959.
A fixture for jazz icons to perform at over many decades, the venue took the opportunity to elevate its sound system in August 2024, upgrading its d&b audiotechnik system and introducing a new subwoofer deployment courtesy of a newly raised stage.
Once completed, after an intense, month-long construction project to upgrade the PA and almost the entire fixtures and furnishings, its upstairs informal performance space was closed to be repurposed into its own outright venue – Upstairs at Ronnie’s.
