Audio-Technica’s ATUC-50 Digital Discussion System is now supported in MVI Audiovisual’s EasyConf software ecosystem, adding customisable control and flexibility to the popular conferencing solution.
The developer’s software suite includes EasyConf, EasyCam, and EasyConf Connect, providing a comprehensive solution for preparing, managing, streaming, and recording meetings with both in-person and remote attendees.
With recent installations at Radboud University, Nijmegen and Erasmus University in Rotterdam, the ATUC-50 and ATUC-IR are designed for straightforward plug-and-play functionality with the choice of wired or infrared wireless systems (or a combination of the two).
Both options provide 24-bit/48kHz uncompressed digital audio for natural-sounding voice reproduction – wired and wireless microphone discussion units can be combined to provide for a maximum of 500 participants.
MVI AudioVisual’s EasyConf software offers a fully customisable control interface for the ATUC-50, with extensive features for agenda, speech time and voting control and participant identification.
The integration with the system hardware allows EasyConf to know of delegate seating positions, vote casting, microphone operation, and more. All conference system features can be controlled from the same customisable interface.
EasyCam was designed for efficient, flexible livestreaming and meeting recording, with a fully automated camera control system to automatically show all active speakers.
All information from the conference system – voting results, attendance, current agenda item, and so on – can be used to design custom overlays for displays in the meeting room or for a livestream audience.
Finally, EasyConf Connect extends the possibilities of the ATUC-50 by allowing delegates to join a meeting with their own device. It simply turns an iPad or laptop into a virtual conference device that can be used to join the meeting remotely.
Logan Helps, Audio-Technica Brand Development Manager, Europe, said: “We’re delighted that the ATUC-50 is now supported by MVI Audiovisual’s class-leading software. The combination of both offers customers highly sophisticated conferencing solutions with simple user controls and fully aligns with Audio-Techinca’s reputation for offering premium quality features at an extremely competitive price.”
MVI Audiovisual Sales Director Alain Poort commented that, “at MVI, we’re always looking for ways to empower our users with intuitive and powerful tools and integrating Audio-Technica’s ATUC-50 into our EasyConf software is a perfect example of that vision in action.
“It’s a collaboration that brings best-in-class hardware and software together, giving customers a seamless, flexible conferencing experience whether they’re in the room or joining remotely, adding voting and speech times to formal meetings.
“A very nice addition is that MVI brings a fully automated camera registration system that allows for up to 40 cameras to be controlled within our platform, complete with lower third graphics to enrich the visual experience for both in-room and livestream audiences.”
