The Laserworld Group has announced that LPS Lasersysteme is the newest member of its company group.

The official announcement was presented during the Keynote at the Laserworld Group’s Open House Event in Berlin last month.

This step is regarded as a strategic milestone that strengthens the Laserworld Group’s global market penetration in the professional show laser system segment.

It combines LPS’s long-time industry expertise with the Laserworld Group’s extensive, worldwide development, production, and distribution infrastructure.

Strategic Synergies and Portfolio Expansion

Founded in 1993 by Siegmund “Siggi” Ruff, LPS Lasersysteme is located in Ofterdingen, Southwest Germany, and has been committed to the development and production of its own laser systems for over 30 years.

In its early days, LPS already secured a significant market share in Europewith the development of professional gas laser systems and has since evolved into a key player in the show laser industry.

Martin Werner, CEO of Laserworld AG, emphasises the strategic significance: “With LPS Lasersysteme, we are not only taking 30 years of profound German engineering expertise onboard, but we are also specifically strengthening our portfolio in the professional show laser segment,” he said.

“This strategic move unites the innovative power of these pioneers with our global market presence.”

Martina Ruff, Head of Marketing at LPS, who drove the company’s international expansion since 1995, is excited for the future: “Even after 30 years, we still have big plans for the LPS Lasersysteme brand, which will be continued with its own developments and products within the Laserworld Group,” she said.

LPS Lasersysteme can look back on successful installations of its laser systems in projects such as SeaWorld in Texas, the Black Sea Arena in Georgia, and the Gorakhnath Temple in India.

The Laserworld Group, which already consists of renowned companies like Laserworld AG, LaserAnimation Sollinger GmbH, tarm AG, and others, is selectively expanding its segment for specialised ‘Made in Germany’ solutions with LPS and is integrating LPS’s long-standing industry knowledge into its comprehensive global sales and service network.
