Lightware has announced a higher level partnership with NETGEAR to deliver seamless AV-over-IP (AVoIP) deployments for a wide range of professional AV environments.
Designed to meet the specific needs of professional AV users, the partnership enables integrators to build dedicated AV networks that are easier to deploy, manage and scale, while giving IT teams the reassurance of a proven, pre-validated solution.
NETGEAR AV’s line of switches are now offered as part of a one-stop shop solution from Lightware, pre-loaded with a Lightware configuration profile.
This profile developed in a joint effort with NETGEAR engineers eliminates the time and complexity of manual setup, enabling system integrators and IT teams to create fully optimised, high-performance AV networks straight out of the box.
Netgear AV’s switches, including the GVN-LWS-1G-26G4F-P (M4250-26G4F-PoE+) and TPN-LWS-10G-24X4V-P (M4350-24X4V) models, have been tested and verified for full compatibility with Lightware AVoIP products such as UBEX, GEMINI GVN, and TPN Ecosystem, such as Taurus TPN and HDMI-TPN products.
The result is a streamlined path to robust, scalable AV infrastructure that supports demanding use cases, from corporate conference rooms and live event productions to digital signage and hospitality AV systems.
For users, the solution provides a plug & play setup in case of the Geminin GVN and TPN products. Meanwhile for the UBEX AVoverIP product it requires a one-click setup only for loading the Lightware profile.
NETGEAR offers ProSAFE Limited Lifetime Hardware Warranty, 90 days of Technical Support via phone and email, Lifetime Technical Support through online chat and Lifetime Next Business Day hardware replacement for managed switches purchased through Lightware.
From mission-critical video delivery at live events and reliable digital signage in retail to content sharing in the enterprise and streamlined content distribution for hotels, stadiums, and venues.
Lightware and NETGEAR’s combined expertise enables users to unlock the full potential of AV-over-IP without the complexity associated with legacy solutions.
“AV-over-IP continues to transform the way organisations think about connectivity and signal distribution,” said Gergely Vida, CEO of Lightware.
“By partnering with NETGEAR, we’re removing one of the biggest pain points in AV network design, making it easy for our customers to deploy powerful, future-ready systems with total confidence.”
Richard Jonker, vice president marketing & business development at NETGEAR AV, said: “Our collaboration with Lightware brings together two trusted names in AV technology to simplify and accelerate the deployment of AV-over-IP networks.
“Integrating our managed AV switches with Lightware’s configuration profiles enables customers to get up and running faster with a reliable, high-performance solution that works right out of the box.”
