Norxe is bringing its portfolio to the I/ITSEC show floor in impressive style, with 35 projectors, either featuring on its own two booths or those of its nine partners.
Taking centre stage are the P60 8K and P55 8K. These two projectors are exceptional in that they deliver 8K resolution and 240Hz frame rates, all from a single 0.98-inch native 4K DLP DMD, perfectly suited to support eye-limiting resolution. All Norxe projectors come with lifetime and long service intervals.
Both are powered by Norxe’s n-Shift technology, which leverages a native 4K chip to achieve 8K resolution by rapidly shifting pixels to create more detail, resulting in a higher-resolution image. The solid-state illumination delivers extraordinary brightness in this category, with the P60 offering 6,100 ANSI lumens and the P55 2,500 ANSI lumens.
Creating supreme image quality
Norxe said that it bases its product development on the knowledge that the best simulators in the world require consummate image quality and an equally exceptional field of view to ensure it is as real-life as possible.
Norxe has designed the P60 8K and P55 8K for almost maintenance-free operation, with built-in functionality such as White Point Tracking (WPT) and Constant Light Output (CLO).
Both these technologies are incorporated into the P-Series projectors to ensure consistent and linear colour performance. Other benefits of the P-Series include:
- Separate IR for Night Vision stimulation
- Cyber security
- Design, warranty and support
- True solid-state illumination
- Compact design with single-chip DLP
- Long lifetime and low maintenance
Rounding off the ‘fit and forget’ design philosophy is the integration of Norxe Unify. This core software unites all the necessary processing, protocols and tools to fully utilise its fleet of projectors.
At its core sits Unify Electronic with unprecedented bandwidth and stability, including the power to deliver 4K, 6K and 8K content. The Unify Electronics is supported by Unify firmware and software, enabling the user to easily access the many functions available within the projectors.
