Serving as a complement to the Philharmonie de Paris, the Children Philharmonie is a new venue specifically for children aged 4-10 to play, explore, listen, live and feel music.
Children are invited to discover music through a sensory and playful experience in the 1,000 sqm area, and among the different installations is ‘Plein les oreilles!’ (Earfuls), a studio offering a state-of-the-art immersion and contemplative experience.
The audience can enjoy around 20 short movies, tales, and animations specifically designed or adapted for the room. Media is projected on the walls by six Panasonic projectors and the immersion is made complete thanks to spatial audio technology featuring 61 speakers, as well as the L-ISA immersive sound system from L-Acoustics.
Audio and media playback is provided by a Modulo Player Pro media server by Modulo Pi.
Equipped with six outputs, the media server also comes with a MADI sound card to play all the required audio channels.
With spatial video and audio perfectly blending into the installation, young visitors can enjoy an enthralling and poetic journey through music.
