Located in Shoreditch, London, The Rogue Room is part club, part studio, and part sanctuary. Describing itself as an underground electronic music and ‘rebellious wellness’ venue, it blends a fusion of yoga, movement, callisthenics, and club culture, in an immersive, music-driven setting which contrasts sharply with more traditional, quiet wellness studios.
With classes including rocket yoga, vinyasa, and yin, often accompanied by live DJs, The Rogue Room successfully merges the transcendence of yoga with the euphoric power of music. With electronic music as a fundamental component of its offer, the Room’s team recently took the decision to upgrade its in-house sound system to ensure that participants enjoyed a premium audio experience.
Trusted audio specialist Cosmic Electronics was engaged to supply audio for the venue’s four separate spaces, and recommended units from the Pioneer DJ XPRS2 range of powered loudspeakers, supplemented by CM-Series commercial audio speakers.

For the main studio at Rogue Room, Cosmic installed four XPRS152 15” 2-way active loudspeakers, combined with four XPRS1182 18” reflex-loaded active subwoofers. Three XPRS82 8” 2-way active loudspeakers catered for the smaller upper-level studio, whilst a further two XPRS82 units were installed into the reception/coffee bar area. Two CM-S58T 8” surface-mount loudspeakers located on the venue’s terrace completed the installation.

The units are versatile and powerful and can be used for a wide range of applications, whether deployed as portable systems or in permanent installations. The venue demanded club-quality sound for its own very special brand of yoga and wellness sessions, and the XPRS2 more than met the challenge.”
