Audiologic has launched its new Manage+ Managed Services offering. To meet the growing demand for these services, Audiologic has made a significant addition to its Application Team.

Audiologic’s commissioning services, led by Senior Technical Manager Ben Spurgeon and his dedicated Technical Team, are consistently in high demand, often securing bookings well in advance for substantial projects. In response, Audiologic has strengthened the team and introduced Manage+, a revolutionary managed services platform, meticulously designed to cater to the unique needs of AV systems.

In October 2023, the Audiologic team welcomed Chris Jones, who assumed the role of Application Support Engineer. Jones brings with him extensive experience within the AV industry and a solid reputation for his work.

Ben Spurgeon, expressed his excitement about the new addition to the team, commenting: “Chris has been on our radar for some time, thanks to his impressive work with Q-SYS, Genelec, and immersive classroom deployments. We already had a great rapport with Chris, and when the opportunity arose to bring him into our team, it was a chance we couldn’t afford to miss.”

Jones’ primary responsibilities will include managing commissioning services in the Midlands and North regions, where he will work closely with the existing team of engineers to ensure the seamless deployment of cutting-edge AV solutions, including the roll-out of Manage+.

Manage+ guarantees users that their AV systems are operating at peak performance, with the knowledgeable Audiologic team at the helm. The services encompass remote support, enabling the application team to troubleshoot issues remotely, minimising downtime and reducing the need for on-site visits.

Proactive management ensures active monitoring of the system and addresses potential issues before they escalate, guaranteeing maximum uptime and optimal performance.

Additionally, equipment will be kept up to date with the latest firmware for access to new features and stability improvements. Regular reports on system uptime and usage will offer valuable insights into how the system is performing, facilitating operational optimisation.

Spurgeon emphasised the significance of the diverse backgrounds within the Application Team as they expand, stating: “The Application Team is at the core of our operations, and we take pride in the wide variety of backgrounds and industry knowledge we have within the team. We’re all tremendously excited about the launch of our new managed services package, and to welcome Chris aboard as we grow our team. We look forward to the valuable contributions he will make to our company’s continued growth and success, and to growing our team further.”

Jones expressed his enthusiasm for the new role: “I’m very excited to be joining the Audiologic team and I can’t wait to see what the role brings. I’ve been working closely with the team for the last couple of years so it has made for an incredibly easy transition. Commissioning sits right within my skill sets, and I’m looking forward to seeing the projects we’re delivering over the coming months. Plenty to look forward to on the horizon!”
