Nashville’s The Sutler Saloon Installs Bose RoomMatch System

The Sutler, opened in 1976 by former country music DJ Johnny Potts, has a special place in Nashville’s history, having hosted performances by such luminaries as Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, Steve Earle, Don Everly, Garth Brooks and numerous others during its 30-year run. Although the original establishment shut down years ago, it was been resurrected by new owners as the Sutler Saloon, close to its original site in Nashville’s Melrose neighbourhood.

The National Bank of Greece Invests in New Audio for its Landmark Building

The National Bank of Greece in Stadiou Street is located in the former building of the first Athens Stock Market. Constructed in 1890, the building provides the National Bank of Greece with a cultural venue for exhibitions, events, presentations and meetings. To service this multi-purpose usage, the Bank needed audio of the highest quality and vocal intelligibility, and commissioned Athens-based Automation Broadcasting Audio Security (ABAS) to design and install the system.

Blackburn College Revamps Auditorium With Danley Sound Labs

Located in the rural Illinois town of Carlinville, Blackburn College serves six hundred undergraduates, and has a unique work program which employs students in a range of non-traditional student jobs. The student construction crew provided much of the labour for a recent $3 million upgrade to the 430-seat Bothwell Auditorium. Amid a range of new infrastructure is a new sound reinforcement system centred on Danley Sound Labs loudspeakers and subwoofers, which provide exceptional fidelity and pattern control.

Established in 1950, Canterbury UMC has grown to embrace both traditional and contemporary worship styles, with separate sanctuaries for each on its Mountain Brook, Alabama campus. Recently, the church engaged Twist Technology of nearby Birmingham to address its ongoing issues with intelligibility of the spoken word in the main (traditional) sanctuary.

From its start in 1996 as a small independent plant by Grandville, Michigan’s Resurrection Life Church, Radiant Church in the Richland suburb of Kalamazoo has steadily grown its membership to 3,500 members. Recently expanding its service count to four each weekend - two on Saturday and two on Sunday - the church also freshly upgraded the audio facilities of its 1,050-seat sanctuary with a new ARCS 'WiFo' (Wide and Focus) loudspeaker system from L-Acoustics.
