The FALCON 6000 is a compact indoor/outdoor, DMX controlled, xenon fixture equipped with douser, pan-and-tilt movement, electronic and mechanical dimmer, electronic and mechanical strobe, zoom and integrated electronic power supply. The FALCON 6000 includes a CMY+1 colour changer, with extra scrolls for special effects. This CMY colour changer system allows for thousands of brilliant colour combinations. A fourth gel string will be equipped with special colours, and/or other special effect films. The FALCON 6000 is available in both 3K and 4K versions, with the more powerful 4K version employing the newly developed Xstage 4K lamp from Osram. Through the combination of the Xstage lamp with the optical system developed by alpha one, the FALCON 6000 achieves a luminous intensity analogous to that of a 6K searchlight and is therefore comparable in terms of light output with the 6K searchlight of competitors. The weatherproof housing is made entirely from aluminium and stainless steel. Like all the other FALCON searchlights from alpha one, the FALCON 6000 can also be operated in a suspended position.
