FBT: HiMaxX Series
FBT has expanded the new HiMaxX series, an advanced professional powered polypropylene moulded speaker systems, with thee HiMaxX 40a, 12”/2-way biamp configuration, the new HiMaxX 60a, 15”/2-way biamp configuration, and the HiMaxX 100Sa, 18” Band-Pass active subwoofer dedicated to the series. The HiMaxX is an explosion of features, performance and unique design: bigger neodymium magnet woofers for improved efficiency, FBT proprietary, B&C made; superb ventilation circuit granting 2dB reduction of power compression; extra-rigid cone for better suspension linearity and less distortion; shorting copper cap for extended and crystal clear HF response, B&C compression drivers; switch mode power supply for lighter weight and faster current delivery; PWM technology for higher dynamics and power performance; newly designed control panel with one Gain/Volume pot., XLR/Jack input, XLR-link output, 3-Band EQ, Mic/Line switch, aux-RCA input with separate volume, 3-status leds, ground-lift; built-in 700W rms power amplifier in Class D (PWM technology) for the LF woofer (HiMaxX 60a); built-in 200W rms power amplifier in Class G for the HF compression driver (HiMaxX 60a); remarkable decrease of WEIGHT/POWER ratio; and new FBT proprietary gas-injection polypropylene moulded asymmetrical trapezoidal design. HiMaxX 60a and 40a are both available in passive versions.
