B&C Speakers: DCM 36
This innovative 5” cone midrange driver is designed to naturally reproduce the very sensitive vocal range. The foundation of this driver is a high efficiency neodymium magnet assembly and an optimised fibre-impregnated cone. The DCM36 effortlessly covers a range from 400Hz to 10kHz. Main applications are public address, installations, movie theaters or any system where midrange efficiency and quality are critical. The DCM36 is driven by a 51 mm edge-wound aluminium ribbon voice coil, and features a 1.4” (36 mm) horn throat diameter that is easily incorporated with standard horns for good angular coverage. It is rated at 160W continuous power and has a sensitivity rating of 108.5 dB 1W/1m. It weighs in at 6.8 lb (3.1 kg).
