APG: SMX15

The SMX15 is a two-way active coaxial loudspeaker comprising a new generation neodymium 15” cone driver mounted in a ported enclosure. The proprietary technology of forced thermal transfer allows to drastically reducing thermal compression effects, resulting in exceptional SPL capacity of 136 dB. The high frequency section uses a neodymium compression driver offering extremely low distortion. Using coaxial technology, the SMX15 provides a perfectly coherent sound field with a conical opening of 85°. The unique shape of the enclosure, combined with the unique AST(tm) (Aiming Tuning System) offer the speaker to be tilted in 5 different angles. Light weight with only 29kg, and three integrated grips make it easy to handle and carry. The SMX15 operates in bi-amplification, with a dedicated dedicated digital processor. The frequency and phase response are perfectly linear, resulting in exceptional feedback reduction.
