FaitalPRO launches the new FaitalPRO 10HP1020 Mid-Woofer: which boasts two spiders, a small sized membrane compared to the classic subs, with a 4” voice coil. The project starts from the previous FaitalPRO W10N8-700 model and the design philosophy did not exclusively privilege only the acoustic performance because sensitivity was not very high for the small membrane, around 94dB, the length of the cone had been limited and, however, horn loaded, it performed very well. From these considerations, thus starting from its good points, the new FaitalPRO 10HP1020 Mid-Woofer10 is born, which repeats the optimum characteristics of its predecessor but adopts the dual mirroring spider solution, thus implementing two perfectly identical spiders mounted in a mirror-like manner, one facing the other so as to greatly decrease asymmetries and yield of each one, thus as if the loudspeaker worked in push-pull. The design of the suspension in treated fabric is not the classic double wave m-roll, but has a smaller wave and a larger one with a cut towards the extremities, details that certainly do not escape the expert eye. The membrane, has been slightly raised to increase the acoustic performance in the medium high range, meaning it has a longer range than its predecessor with a sensitivity of 2dB more than the 96dB and an excellent linearity.
