Turbosound Flex Array
Flex Array is a medium-scale professional sound reinforcement system combining elements of line array theory with Turbosound’s patented and proven virtual point source technology, resulting in an one-box-fits-all loudspeaker product. By changing the orientation of the cabinet and rotating the mid/high waveguide within the enclosure, one loudspeaker type is capable of being used in either line array or virtual point source configurations. Flex Array’s patent-pending Dendritic horn produces a line source element with superior directional qualities, together with trademark Turbosound clarity and definition. Flex Array is fully arrayable, with both horizontal and vertical flyware integrated into the box for rapid setup with no external parts. The FB-600 flybar’s unique screw thread adjustment allows the movable lift point to be traversed using a hand-held drill even while under load. The flybar supports a column of loudspeakers up to 700kg from a single fly point. The complementary horn-loaded low frequency cabinet utilises a high power neodymium 18” drive unit and can either be flown or ground stacked. Digitally self-powered versions with integrated lightweight Class D amplifier modules are available, making Flex Array products ideal for the corporate market and live sound applications.
