KV2 VHD System

The VHD speaker system is a very high definition, active driven, large format audio system for fixed or portable applications. The VHD 2.0 mid high loudspeaker and the VHD 4.18 quad 18”, VHD 2.15 double 15” and VHD 1.21 single 21” subwoofer modules encompass the enclosure line up. The new VHD 1.0 downfill enclosure adds further versatility to the VHD system. The VHD 2.0 is a three-way design featuring a three-inch compression driver, two horn loaded eight-inch speakers and two horn loaded twelve-inch mid-bass speakers. Nominal dispersion for the VHD 2.0 is 80° horizontal and 40° vertical. SPL figures for the VHD 2.0 are 139dB cont and 142dB peak. The VHD 2000 is the processor amplifier for the VHD system. The VHD 2000 is the world’s first system with proprietary digital alignment delay technology using DSD™ components providing a 6Mhz sampling rate. Sampling 62.5 times faster than conventional 96kHz systems allows the DSD based system to actually follow and recreate the analogue signal with incomparable accuracy. The basic system configuration comprises one VHD 2.0 and four VHD 4.18 subwoofers per side. The system can be ground stacked or flown and provides wide coverage and output sufficient to cover an area up to 60m deep.
