Adamson Metrix Series

The Metrix is a compact, modular line source array series which provides unmatched clarity for speech reinforcement and high SPL for small to mid-size installations and corporate events, or for use as fill arrays in large-format installations and touring applications. The Metrix is a 2-way enclosure with the same coverage pattern as its larger 3-way counterpart SpekTrix. The sound chamber has a defined coverage pattern of 5º vertical by 120º horizontal and produces a slightly curved, iso-phase wave front. The Metrix W is a 15º trapezoidal cabinet, which allows for extreme downward angles at the bottom of the array and is perfect for use in wide vertical coverage array designs. The compact Metrix Sub features two newly designed 15” ND15-L Kevlar Neodymium bass drivers mounted in a tuned, vented and fully braced cabinet. It can be ground-stacked or flown conventionally, above, beside or even behind the main array, or in back-to-front pairs for a true cardioid performance. Each of the Metrix Series enclosures is available in touring (Metrix-t) and installation (Metrix-i) versions. The Metrix-t encompasses Adamson’s AIR™ system for mobile applications and the Metrix-i, features Adamson’s EIR™ (Enclosed Installation Rigging) system designed exclusively for permanent installations.
