ShowCAD Control System’s Artist show controller manages up to 32,000 DMX channels (shortly to be increased to 100,000 channels) and supports many input/output protocols. New features include pixel plotting - an innovative method of programming large LED arrays, Autopilot (automatic show generator), new improved global fixture addressing, multi-layering of effects, pixel-array fixture types, scrolling marquee text-generator, setup wizards, macro generators and video to DMX features, as well as comprehensive controls for intelligent and conventional lighting control and more.

All this adds up to an extremely powerful and versatile system, and far from such impressive features making programming and operation a daunting prospect, it actually makes life a lot easier than struggling with controllers that don’t have such innovations. This is one of the reasons the Artist system has been commissioned to control 12,000 channels of Pulsar LED lighting fixtures on the exterior of buildings at the Bahrain Financial Harbour.

USED IN: Artist systems are principally installed in nightclubs, lately controlling the US award-winning Best Nightclub Installation 2007 for Jet at the Mirage, Las Vegas. In the UK 2007, BEDA winners Liquid Newcastle and Escape Essex.
