Audio-Technica Strengthens Sales Force
26 January 2012
Audio-Technica has announced the appointment of three new members of staff to its sales team.
Tim Riley assumes the position of area sales manager for the North and Scotland, and joins Audio-Technica from Kendal University where he was senior music production lecturer; Riley is a well-known face in the industry having previously spent many successful years with Beyerdynamic.
Following Audio-Technica’s recent agreement to act as UK distributor for Allen & Heath, new pro installation manager Stuart McKay and technical sales manager Gary Maguire‘s primary responsibilities will be to oversee the development of sales for the iconic British mixer brand.
Bringing a wealth of industry experience to their new roles, McKay joins from John Hornby Skewes where he occupied the position of pro sales manager, while Maguire counts both Studiospares (where he was technical sales specialist) and Tascam (area sales manager) as previous employers.
Audio-Technica UK sales director Tony Gravel said, “I’m extremely pleased to welcome Tim, Gary and Stuart to Audio-Technica. Their expertise and industry knowledge will prove instrumental in fulfilling our ambitions for both A-T and A&H in what is already a landmark anniversary year for Audio-Technica.”
